OK I have installed my DVD copy of Vista and activated it. Now it automatically installs updates. Does that make it the same as the CTP builds. Would there be any advantage to downloading the CTP monthly builds? Thanx in advance

I'm Curious too
No. Updates are just patches and drivers for the build you have. There are a great many differences between builds. Sometimes even new functionality.
